Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure
Cloud architecture and infrastructure built to actually hold up
Cloud setups tend to drift into something slow, fragile and expensive. We design, migrate and clean up infrastructure so it's secure, cheap to run and easy to recover when something goes wrong.
Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure at Nocap Technologies
Cloud architecture at Nocap Technologies covers designing new infrastructure, migrating off old hosting, and cleaning up cloud accounts that grew without a plan. We work mainly on AWS and focus on four things: security (least-privilege access, secrets stored properly, patched servers), cost (right-sized resources and no idle spend), reliability (backups, staging environments and tested rollback) and simplicity (setups a normal team can understand). Our founder spent years in ethical hacking, so we look at your setup the way an attacker would. We run our own websites, apps, email and AI systems on infrastructure we built and maintain, and we moved our own stack off traditional hosting onto AWS quickly instead of letting it become a months-long project.
What we do
- Design new cloud infrastructure for apps, sites and AI workloads
- Migrate from shared hosting or older servers to AWS
- Cut cloud bills by right-sizing and removing what you don't use
- Set up staging environments, backups and rollback plans
- Harden access: least privilege, secrets management, patching, TLS
- Set up DNS, email authentication and monitoring
How we approach it
-
Inventory
We find out what you run, what it costs and who has access. This step alone often pays for the engagement.
-
Design for the real load
We size for the traffic you have and a sensible margin, not for an imaginary future.
-
Change safely
Every change is staged, backed up and reversible. Production is the last place a change lands, not the first.
-
Write it down
You get documentation of what was built and how to run it, so you are not dependent on us.
How we run our own
Everything we build runs on infrastructure we designed: websites served from hardened servers, serverless functions for forms, managed email with proper authentication, and a staging environment where every change is checked before it reaches production. When it came time to modernize our own setup, we scoped it, did it and moved on.
Signs your cloud setup needs attention
- The monthly bill keeps climbing and nobody can say why
- Several people share one admin login, or former staff still have access
- Backups exist but nobody has ever tested a restore
- Changes go straight to production because there is no staging environment
- Only one person understands how it all fits together
What you get
A clear picture of what you run and what it costs, the changes made (or recommended) with the reasoning behind each, a diagram of the final setup, and short runbooks for the tasks your team will need: deploying, restoring from backup, rotating credentials and adding a new person.
Timeline and cost
A cloud review is usually days. Migrations depend on how much you run and how tangled it is, and we stage them so nothing goes dark. Pricing is scoped per project. See how we price.
Questions people ask
Do you only work with AWS?
AWS is where we do most of our work, and we can advise on other clouds. We pick what fits your needs and budget rather than pushing one vendor.
Can you lower our cloud bill?
Often, yes. Idle resources, oversized servers and forgotten services are common. A review shows what can go before anything changes.
Will a migration cause downtime?
We plan migrations to avoid it, using staging, backups and a tested rollback. Where a short window is unavoidable, we schedule it with you in advance.
