Pricing
How we price AI, automation and software projects
Custom technology work doesn't fit a price sheet, and we're not going to pretend it does. What we can promise is a clear scope and a firm price before you commit to anything.
What drives the price
Every engagement is priced against what it needs. A static site and a custom hardware integration aren't the same conversation, so we look at:
- Complexity: how hard the problem is and how many moving parts it has
- Integrations: how many systems it has to talk to, and how clean their APIs are
- Hosting: whether we host and run it, or hand it off to your team
- AI usage: how much AI model time the solution uses once it's running
- Hardware: whether physical devices are involved
- Timeline: how fast you need it
Common ways to work with us
-
Assessment
A short, fixed-scope look at your business or systems that ends with a written plan. Good when you know AI or modernization matters but aren't sure where to start. See AI consulting and technology assessments.
-
Build
A scoped project to build an AI agent, automation, app or integration, priced up front. Bigger builds are split into stages so you get value early.
-
Support
Keeping what we built healthy after launch, either project-based or on a regular rhythm. See ongoing support.
What you get before you commit
A plain-language scope that says what we'll build, what we won't, how long it should take, what it costs and what it'll cost to run afterwards. If we think the project isn't worth doing, or is smaller than you think, we'll say that instead. We respond to every inquiry within one business day.
Questions people ask
Why don't you publish fixed prices?
Because custom AI and software work varies too much for a price sheet to be honest. A simple automation and a multi-system AI agent are different projects. We scope each one and give you the price before you commit.
What do you need from us to give a price?
A short description of the problem, the systems or tools involved, and when you need it. We reply within one business day, usually with a few questions, then send a written scope and price. Nothing is billed until you approve it.
What ongoing costs should we expect?
Usually hosting and AI model usage, plus support if you want it. We estimate running costs before you commit, so the monthly bill after launch is not a surprise.
