AI Consulting & Strategy
AI consulting that tells you the truth, then builds the thing
Most AI consulting ends with a slide deck. Ours ends with a plan you can act on, and usually a working first version. We'll tell you where AI will actually help your business, where it won't, and what it'll take to get there.
AI Consulting & Strategy at Nocap Technologies
AI consulting at Nocap Technologies starts with your business, not with a tool. We look at how work moves through your company, find the steps where AI saves real time or money, and tell you plainly which ideas are worth building and which aren't. Sometimes the honest answer is "don't build this yet" or "this needs a person, not a prompt." When something is worth doing, you get a short written plan: the use case, the data it needs, the risks, a rough timeline, and what it should cost to run. Because we build as well as advise, the plan is grounded in what we know ships. Most clients start with a short assessment and move straight into a first build.
Who this is for
Founders and owners who know AI matters but don't want to burn a quarter finding out where. Operations leaders who keep hearing "we should use AI for that" and need someone to separate the real wins from the hype. Teams that already tried a chatbot or a pilot that went nowhere and want to know why.
You don't need a data team or a big budget to start. You need a business problem and someone willing to be straight with you about it.
What you get
- A plain-language read on where AI fits in your business, and where it doesn't
- A short list of use cases ranked by value, effort and risk
- A written plan for the top pick: what it does, what data it needs, who uses it and how we'd build it
- Running-cost estimates, including AI model usage, so there are no surprises after launch
- A security and privacy check on anything that touches customer or company data
- A clear recommendation on build, buy or wait, with the reasoning written down
How it works
-
Listen
We start with a conversation about your business, your goals and what's eating your team's time. No pitch.
-
Map the work
We walk through the actual workflows, tools and data involved. This is where most of the real opportunities show up.
-
Tell you the truth
You get our honest take: what's worth doing now, what can wait and what isn't a fit for AI at all.
-
Prove it
For the top pick we usually build a small working version, so you can judge it on results instead of promises.
Timeline and cost
A focused assessment usually takes days, not months. If we build a first version, small ones are often live within a week or two. Bigger systems take longer, and we'll say so up front.
Every engagement is scoped on its own terms, based on how complex the problem is, what it connects to and whether we host it. You get the scope and the price before you commit to anything. See how we price.
Why work with us
Nocap Technologies is founder-led. David Swinsky has spent more than thirty years in ethical hacking, software development, technical management and consulting, and he leads every engagement himself. That background matters: AI advice is only useful if it accounts for security, cost and the systems you already run.
We also run our own company on AI every day. Research, planning, building, testing and documentation all run through Vector, the AI system we built to work alongside David. So the advice comes from people who use this stuff for real, not from people who read about it. You can see what we've built on our work page.
Questions people ask
What does an AI consultant actually do?
A good AI consultant figures out where AI can save time or money in your business, tells you honestly which ideas are worth it, and helps you build and run the ones that are. We do all three, including the build.
Do we need our own data scientists to work with you?
No. Most of our clients don't have a data team. We handle the technical side and explain it in plain language so your people can make good decisions.
Will you tell us if AI is the wrong answer?
Yes. Sometimes the right fix is a simple automation, a process change or a person. We'd rather tell you that than sell you something that won't pay off.
Do you work with companies outside Atlanta?
Yes. We're based in Alpharetta, GA and work with clients across metro Atlanta in person or remotely, and with companies anywhere in the US remotely.
Got something worth building?
Tell us what you're working on, however early or unusual. It goes straight to the founder.
