Custom Application Development
Custom application development, from prototype to production
When off-the-shelf software doesn't fit, we build what does. Web apps, internal tools, customer portals and mobile apps, built fast with AI in the loop and held to production standards.
Custom Application Development at Nocap Technologies
Custom application development at Nocap Technologies covers web applications, internal business tools, customer-facing platforms and mobile apps, from first prototype to production. We build fast because AI runs through our whole process, from planning and code to testing and documentation, but we don't skip the parts that keep software alive: staging before production, backups, security and real testing. We took our own e-commerce brand, Nocap Research, from idea to a live platform in roughly a week, including the storefront, admin tooling and cloud infrastructure. We also built and run Marketing Studio, an AI content platform, and we're building AURA, an AI health app for iOS and Android. If a tool you can already buy does the job, we'll tell you to buy it instead.
What we build
- Web applications and customer portals
- Internal tools and admin dashboards that replace spreadsheets and email chains
- E-commerce and booking platforms
- Mobile apps for iOS and Android
- Marketing sites that are fast, accessible and built to rank
- Prototypes and MVPs to test an idea before you bet on it
How we work
-
Scope it honestly
We agree on what the first version must do and, just as important, what it won't do yet.
-
Build in short loops
You see working software early and often, not a big reveal at the end.
-
Test before it ships
Every change goes to a staging environment and gets checked before it reaches production.
-
Launch and stay reachable
We deploy with backups and a rollback plan, and we stick around after launch.
Proof, not promises
We took Nocap Research, one of our own brands, from idea to a live platform in roughly a week. We built Marketing Studio, which generates, reviews and publishes social content, and we're building AURA, an AI-powered health app. We also built the website for Oscar Cruz Construction. See everything on our work page.
Why it moves faster here
Our software is built by orchestrated AI agents (a product manager, developers and QA) with David reviewing and approving the work. That removes a lot of the waiting that slows traditional shops down. It doesn't remove judgment: the same person who scoped your project is accountable for what ships.
What you get at handoff
- The source code in a repository you can access
- A staging environment for testing and a production environment for customers
- Automated backups and a written rollback plan
- Plain-language documentation: how it works, how to deploy it, where the settings live
- Admin access to the accounts and services the app runs on
Is custom software right for you?
Custom software makes sense when your process is a real advantage and off-the-shelf tools force you to work around them, when you're paying for several tools to do one job, or when you're launching a product that doesn't exist yet. It doesn't make sense when a well-known product already does what you need for a reasonable monthly fee. In that case we'll point you to it and, if needed, connect it to the rest of your systems instead.
Timeline and cost
A focused first version is often a matter of days or a couple of weeks. Larger platforms are planned in stages so you get value early. Pricing depends on complexity, integrations and whether we host it. See how we price.
Questions people ask
How fast can you build an MVP?
A focused MVP is often ready in days to a couple of weeks. We took our own e-commerce platform from idea to live in roughly a week. Bigger products are built in stages.
Do you build mobile apps?
Yes. We build for iOS and Android, and we are building our own AI health app, AURA, for both.
Who owns the code?
That's agreed in writing before work starts. We're happy to set it up so you own the code and the accounts it runs on.
Can you host and maintain the app for us?
Yes. We can host it, monitor it and maintain it, or hand it off to your team with documentation.
Got something worth building?
Tell us what you're working on, however early or unusual. It goes straight to the founder.
