Why we exist

Nocap Technologies started because David Swinsky and three specialists he'd worked alongside for years got tired of watching good ideas die in slide decks, and good technical judgment get buried under process. We're not here to tell you AI will transform your business. We're here to tell you what it will actually do for your business, and then build it.

The name is the point. "No cap" means no lie. We'd rather lose a sale than sell you something that won't pay off.

How we work

We listen first. Then we tell you the truth, including when the truthful answer is "don't build this yet," or "this is smaller than you think," or "this needs a person, not a prompt."

When something is worth building, we move. Ideas become working systems in days or weeks, not quarters. Every change is tested in a staging environment before it reaches production, and every project is scoped and priced before you commit.

We hold our own work to the same standard we promise clients. When it came time to modernize our own infrastructure, we didn't let it become a months-long initiative. We scoped it, did it and moved on, the same way we'd approach any engagement.

AI-forward, by design

AI isn't just a service we sell. It's how we work. Every engagement runs through Vector, the AI system we built to research, plan, build, test and document alongside David. Our own software is built by teams of AI agents with a person approving what ships. That's how a small firm moves at a speed a traditional one can't, without cutting the judgment a serious project needs.

It also means our advice comes from daily use, not from reading about it. We know where AI holds up and where it falls apart because we run our own company on it.

Who's behind it

David Swinsky leads every engagement and is your direct contact from the first conversation to launch and after. He's spent more than thirty years across ethical hacking, software development, technical management and consulting, which is why security and running costs are part of every recommendation we make, not an afterthought. When a project needs deeper expertise in enterprise architecture, security, data or AI implementation, he brings in senior specialists from a small network of people he's worked with for years. They prefer not to be named publicly, so we describe what they do instead. Meet the team.
